I’m Randy Batiquin — a Filipino author, web developer, and the founder of ebosya.com, a lifestyle and travel media brand that tells real stories about Pinoy life, culture, and the small everyday things that make us who we are.
For over 15 years, I’ve worn many hats — developer, designer, writer, storyteller. But at the core of it all is one mission: to blend creativity and technology in sharing authentic, heartfelt stories about the everyday Filipino — our diskarte, humor, and quiet strength.
Through ebosya.com, I’ve built a digital home for ideas with soul — a mix of practical guides, reflections on work and family, and travel stories that celebrate the beauty of the Philippines… and the people who keep it alive.
✍️ Writing, Technology, and the Filipino Story
I started out in web development and digital publishing, helping small businesses and creators grow their online presence. Eventually, my work evolved into something more personal — blending tech, storytelling, and identity.
Today, I write about digital culture, travel, lifestyle, and personal growth, always through the lens of what it means to live, work, and dream as a Filipino.
Whether it’s a guide about life hacks, a story from the road, or a reflection on modern life, my writing aims to capture the quiet strength of ordinary people — the way Filipinos find meaning, humor, and hope even in tough times.

🖋 From Poetry to Pages
Outside of blogging, I’m also a poet and lyricist. My poem “Let Me” (2018) was later studied in the Central European Management Journal (2022) under the paper “Construing Batiquin’s Romantic Poem ‘Let Me’: From Structure to Meaning in Textual Metafunction.”
The study analyzed how the poem’s structure and diction reflect human emotion — and it’s humbling to know that something written from the heart resonated enough to become part of academic literature.
💡 Building Ebosya
Ebosya.com began as a small project — just a few travel stories and personal reflections — but it has since grown into a Filipino lifestyle and travel hub visited by readers across the Philippines and abroad.
It’s more than just a blog. It’s a platform for stories about family, money, travel, tech, and self-discovery, all told in the familiar, heartfelt tone we Filipinos understand best.
Every article is built around the same belief: that real stories, even the simple ones, can change how we see the world.
🎓 Recognition and Work
I currently serve as IT Operations Manager at Mark My Words Media, where I lead web and digital initiatives while continuing to grow Ebosya as a long-term creative and educational brand.
My work has been featured across Google Scholar, Academia.edu, and Family Friend Poems, cited for its contribution to Filipino creative writing and modern digital storytelling.
